Liverpool’s famous Banksy rat has been taken to LONDON to be put on show at a trendy bar.

The huge graffiti of the rat holding a marker pen was taken off the old White House pub in Duke Street but was set to return to a “street art gallery” in its home city.

But the work was caught up in the problems affecting developer North Point Global, which is pulling out of Liverpool leaving three high-profile stalled developments and a group of angry investors in its wake. And it was announced last year that it had been sold to Middle Eastern investors.

Now a graffiti-themed pop-up bar called Rat Bar is opening in London. And its main attraction will be the rat, which developer Shout About London says is “previously unseen in London”.
